Activation Notes (with Application Forms)
To support Main Campus and directly affiliated hospital staff and graduate students who need to use Library e-resources off campus, the Library offers an Off-Campus Access service.
1) Eligibility & How It Works
- Main Campus faculty who live off campus.
- Departments of directly affiliated hospitals apply by department (accounts shared within the department; up to 3 accounts per department).
- Graduate students of directly affiliated hospitals access resources via the campus network.
- Graduate students at off-campus joint training sites (master’s, doctoral, or doctoral-equivalent), subject to Graduate School approval.
- Eight-year program students on off-campus internships.
Applicants submit an individual request; access is activated after approval.
Graduate students apply in November–December of the year of matriculation; applications are generally not accepted at other times.
Traffic cap: 100 MB/day.
Validity: Faculty/healthcare staff—valid 1 year from activation (reapply upon expiry). Graduate students—valid for the standard time-to-degree (i.e., through the third-year graduation).
