Indexing & Citation Verification
To obtain an official certificate confirming that a publication has been indexed and/or cited, visit the Library homepage and sign in to the “Novelty & Similarity Check / Indexing & Citation Verification” system (http://ckzx.smu.edu.cn/). Select Indexing & Citation Verification and complete the online application form.
Indexing Verification
Southern Medical University operates a Ministry of Education–level Technology Novelty Search Workstation. We issue indexing certificates for the following databases: SCI (online edition), SSCI (online edition), EI (online edition), CSCD, CSSCI.
Citation Verification
To support project proposals and achievement appraisal, the SMU Novelty Search Office retrieves citation counts for specified publications based on bibliographic details or search leads provided by the applicant. We currently provide:
- Citation data for domestic literature; and
- Citation data for SCI-indexed articles.
Fees
On-campus users
• Chinese literature
• Indexing: 10 yuan/article
• Citation: 5 yuan/article if total citations ≤ 10; 10 yuan/article if ≥ 10
• Foreign-language literature
• Indexing: 20 yuan/article/database
• Citation: 2 yuan × total citation count
Off-campus users
• Chinese literature
• Indexing: 10 yuan/article
• Citation: 5 yuan/article if total citations ≤ 10; 10 yuan/article if ≥ 10
• Foreign-language literature
• Indexing: 50 yuan/article/database
• Citation: 2 yuan × total citation count
Notes
1. Each verification report is issued in duplicate; no additional copies are provided. If you need extra copies, please scan and retain one for your records. Any later submission is treated as a new request and charged at standard rates.
2. Reports are issued only for publications formally indexed by databases such as SCI (online edition) and EI (online edition). We do not issue statements for items that have not been indexed.
3. You must upload a PDF of the article. To prevent upload failures, rename the file using digits only (e.g., 123.pdf) while keeping the PDF format. If the upload still fails, convert the article to image format and upload.
