Founded in 1869, Nature is one of the earliest and most influential international science journals, consistently reporting and commenting on major global breakthroughs. Its mission is to bring significant scientific discoveries to the public and keep readers informed of advances across all branches of natural knowledge.

Our Library began participating in the CALIS consortial purchase in 2007, subscribing to Nature and its medical series (16 titles), and added 5 non-consortial titles in 2009. In 2010, two low-use/high-cost titles—Nature Chemical Biology and Nature Structural & Molecular Biology—were discontinued (post-2010 full text unavailable for those titles during the lapse). In 2015, six additional non-consortial titles were discontinued.

Current access: Through online access, our users can view and download the latest full text for 35 Nature series journals. 21 of these were newly added in 2022.
