Developed by Dr. Wang Yong (recipient of the China Youth May Fourth Medal and a National Self-Strengthening Model) in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Information, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, this platform focuses on classical TCM literature and broader medical knowledge services. Since its launch in 2014, the current v4.0 release includes 15 component databases—such as the Core Classics Library, Specialty Classics, Rare Classics, Overseas Classics, Disease-Focused Historical Medicine, Case Records, and Facsimile Collections. The corpus contains 2,500+ classical titles, 300+ TCM disease entries, and 90,000+ prescriptions/formulas; it also features a TCM term network with 70,000+ entries, integrates 30+ TCM dictionaries, and holds 23 patents/software copyrights. The project has been admitted to the National Cultural Industry Project Repository.
