Established in 1989, the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) indexes 1,000+ high-quality Chinese and English-language journals across mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, geosciences, biology, agriculture and forestry, medicine and health, engineering, environmental science, and management science. Beyond standard search, CSCD provides citation indexing so users can see how a given work has been cited, and can start from a seminal paper or an author to discover recent related literature—particularly valuable for interdisciplinary and emerging fields. CSCD also supports linking to full text where available.

The new platform adds personalized services. After registering and signing in, users can save search histories and use “My Subscriptions,” “Saved Papers,” and “Browsing History” modules for continuity.
