Meeting you among millions, in the boundless wilderness of time, neither a step too early nor a step too late, just bumping right into the pop-up librarians—this itself is a fortunate prologue.

At the Pop-up Library, librarians will meet you face-to-face, helping you unlock the library's hidden surprises: treasure troves of resources, specialized services, training lectures, custom cultural merchandise... All faculty and students are sincerely invited to this encounter, to personally experience and share in the surprises!

II. First Borrowing Reward: The Star of the Southern Medical Library

Time: September 8 - 10, 2025

Participants: Class of 2025 Freshmen

How to Participate: Find the book you most want to read after starting university, complete the borrowing process, comment on your borrowing or reading experience and take a photo check-in. Upload the text and photo to the comments section of the WeChat article as required. Those with 10 or more likes will receive a library-customized document folder.

III. Blood-Stained Mountains and Rivers, Learning from History: 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War Themed Book Exhibition

Eighty years of extraordinary struggle, eighty years of passing on the torch.

In 2025, we welcome the great historical moment of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The library specially holds this book exhibition to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and promote the spirit of the Resistance War.

This exhibition brings together rich historical materials and works such as "Northeast Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army," "The War of Resistance: China and the World Anti-Fascist War," "The Great Eastern Trial: A Record of the Trials of Japanese War Criminals," and "Victorious Counteroffensive: The Conclusion of World War II." It aims to recreate that magnificent history from all angles and perspectives, hoping to learn from history, cherish peace, and create the future.
