The Professional Image Database is China’s first professional‑grade, cross‑disciplinary image‑and‑text resource database, developed in response to the digitalization needs of higher education institutions and public organizations. It employs advanced database technology to manage valuable visual resources, which are carefully selected, edited, and organized by subject‑matter experts and accompanied by comprehensive, accurate, and standardized textual data.

To date, the database contains no fewer than 5 million digitized subject‑specific image‑text resources, covering fields such as Engineering, Science, Agriculture, Law, Economics, Management, History, Art, Literature, Museums, and more. It offers a responsive interface accessible via three platforms: PC, mobile app, and WeChat. Multiple search options are supported, including but not limited to: “Full‑Database Search,” “Sub‑Database Search,” “Exact Match Search,” and “Advanced Search.” The database is updated regularly and includes complimentary online thematic exhibitions of professional subject‑related images.

Each sub‑database is scientifically categorized and curated, bringing together image‑text resources from different disciplines that share thematic connections, thereby forming a vast integrated visual repository of disciplinary knowledge. With ongoing version updates, the number of sub‑databases and the volume of data within existing sub‑databases will continue to expand.

Copyright & Permitted Use:

All images in the Professional Image Database are copyright‑cleared. Users may employ them for internal teaching, training, research, display, and citation within their authorized institution. They may also be incorporated into internal materials such as lecture notes, course slides, textbooks, training documents, assignments, theses, and examination papers.

Account Registration & Usage:

Usage: Accounts can be used outside the authorized IP range with no concurrent‑user restrictions.

Registration:

1. Accounts cannot be registered via the mobile app.

2. Registration is available through the PC (within IP range) and WeChat. Accounts registered via these platforms are valid across all three access terminals.

Download Permissions: Images can be downloaded on the App and PC platforms; the WeChat supports online viewing only (no download).
